ABOUT
Well… you found me!
I believe to be an analytical and creative designer. At times I’m in my head solving all sorts of problems a few to boot start with design to web coding. On the outside I spend time researching, sketching, and creating communication visuals using various analog to digital tools. My solid foundation in a hand full of design processes, combined with a personal strive for detail, is where I feel most at home when building creative solutions to a gamut of problems. Whether it’s design or anything else in life, I have a knack for finding creative ways to better immerse myself in projects.
History…
After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in design from Weber State University, I continued 15 years of multidisciplinary design, anchored with a heavy focus in print layout, typesetting, and branding. Website design as of the last six years quickly became my passion. I’ve collaborated with multiple types of teams, and individuals who specialize in illustration, photography, and design from the greater Salt Lake City community. Bonds and an exchange of experience allowed me to hone the finer points of UX/UI web design, illustration, photography, and beyond.
Other things I enjoy besides design…
A few favorite pastimes include coding projects, leather work, rebuilding motorcycles, rowing, creating meals for others and practically learning to build or create anything.
Small Secret
I was an Architectural Woodwork craftsman for six years.
